Brian Hannon

Dr Brian Hannon

Dr Brian is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He holds Membership of the ICGP and is also a licenced General Practitioner in Canada. He trained on the Trinity College Vocational GP Training scheme and has gained experience in many medical subspecialties during his time spent working in The Coombe Hospital, Tallaght Hospital and St James Hospital among others.

Dr Brian has a special interest in Women’s Health and Geriatric Medicine. He is also involved in Medical Education and is GP Trainer with the UCD GP Training scheme.

Dr Brian holds additional postgraduate qualifications in Women’s Health and Medical Education. He is trained in the insertion of Implanon and Mirena and he is a registered smear taker with Cervical Check.

Brian's hobbies include reading, movies and exercise particularly cycling and sea swimming. When not spending time with his young family he enjoys watching sport especially Leinster Rugby and Dublin GAA.

Dr Claire McNicholas

Dr Claire has over 3 decades of experience in General Practice. She is a GP Specialist in Women's Health with a particular interest in contraception including LARC (Mirena, Copper Coils and Implanon insertion). She also has a special interest in the treatment and management of the Menopause.

Dr Claire has a very keen interest in Medical Education. She is the assistant national director of Ireland's CME Network which is the continuing medical education platform for qualified GPs.

Dr Claire is a board member of St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar and sits on subcommittees of the Irish Medical Council and Irish College of General Practitioners. She is an avid reader and loves to travel, she is passionate about sport and continues to play hockey and golf.

Dr Caitriona Lee

Dr. Caitriona completed her medical training in NUI Galway. After completing her intern year in Galway she travelled to Australia where she gained valuable experience in the Australian Health Service. She is a graduate of the Trinity College GP Training scheme.

As part of her GP training she gained experience working across a range of specialties including General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Psychiatry.

Dr Caitriona has a special interest in Sports & Exercise Medicine and was awarded an MSc in the discipline from Trinity College Dublin. Dr Caitriona is trained in the insertion of Long Acting Reversible Contraception.

Dr David Nicholas Hannon

David completed vocational training on the Trinity College GP Training Scheme. Before training to be a GP he undertook additional postgraduate training in the areas of Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Geriatrics.

Dr David enjoys the broad scope of General Practice from Antenatal Care and Paediatrics to Men’s Health. His Special Interest areas include Care of the Older Person, Dermatology and Minor Surgery.

Dr David is particularly interested in successful ageing and in screening and prevention of chronic disease. He is also involved in Medical Education and tutors both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate Doctors.

David lives locally and is married with 3 small children that keep him busy outside of work.

Dr. Mark Kielty

Dr Mark completed his Medical Degree in University College Dublin. He subsequently undertook Basic Specialist Training in General Internal Medicine at the St Vincent’s Hospital Group. During this training he broadened his knowledge of a number of medical specialities including Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Respiratory medicine.

After a year as a Medical Registrar Dr. Mark embarked on the UCD GP Training Scheme. As part of his GP Training Dr. Mark gained significant experience working in the Coombe Hospital and Temple Street A&E.

Originally from Galway, Mark also holds a degree in Commerce and a Masters from UCD Smurfit Business School.
