As you may be aware the Health Service is experiencing unprecedented demand at present. Our team at Marian Road Medical would like to thank you for your patience during these hugely challenging and stressful times. We have strived to provide you and your family with a comprehensive General Practice service in a friendly, efficient and professional manner despite the challenges that we face. We have been touched by the many kind messages of support we have received.

General Practice has seen unprecedented demand over the last 12 months and this demand continues to increase. We are aware that our phone lines are extremely busy. It is not always possible to promptly answer the volume of calls we are currently receiving. We ask you to please be patient with our staff we will try our best to accommodate you.

Due to increased demand, we may not be in a position to offer you same day appointments.

However, a number of same day emergency appointments are held daily. Our team will endeavour to offer our acutely sick patients these emergency appointments. When making your appointment, please give the receptionists a brief description of your problem to help us triage those most in need.

If you need urgent care and we cannot offer you a same day appointment then please contact EDoc which is our GP Out-of-Hours Service. Their phone number is 01-2234500. They are located on the campus of St. Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin 4 and St. Columcilles Hospital in Dublin 18. The service operates from 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday and throughout weekends and Bank Holidays.
